Thank you all for praying for us. The funeral went well, we then drove to Virginia and fly tomorrow to St. Louis to be a part of the compassion forum. Pray that God will touch the participants, giving fresh wisdom on how compassion can be a tool to touch men and women with the good news of Jesus Christ!

Twyla and I have been in Myrtle Beach for the last week. This morning I will be ministering at the funeral service for Becky Huddleston, the mother-in-law of Twyla’s cousin.
She passed suddenly, went to work at the Post Office at 2:30 am and died before noon.
Please keep the extended family in prayer today and over the next few days, thank you.

Getting closer

We are getting closer and closer to India!
Wednesday night we did something we have not done in 22 1/2 years of missions, we said goodbye to our sons Bobby (25) and Josiah (22).They are staying behind as we leave for India.
We are currently driving east to spend a week with Twyla’s family, then to St. Louis for the Compassion Forum and we will fly out of Greensboro, North Carolina for Delhi on August 31st.
We are still short $12,000 in our cash budget, but we know that God is able.

My Son Josiah starts work at T-Mobile in customer service tomorrow, we are so grateful for him to have a full time job with benefits, a true answer to prayer!
We have a little less than six weeks before we move to India, so much to do in so little time. At this point our major issue is raising the cash budget of our account, we need to raise $18,000 cash asap. Thanks for all who have helped, and pray this gets done, thank you.
